The Car
The chassis is one of the best I've seen, with only a couple places that had very minimal rust. There are a few door dings here and there and a small dent in the front where someone probably bumped a high curb.

The engine compartment is in really good condition and is still completely original. This is an early tii, so it has the plastic intake runners. They were part of the reason the previous owner finally gave up on maintaining the car. One of the tubes broke and started leaking air, which caused the motor to run poorly. The throttle body was also wearing, making it impossible to adjust air-fuel mixture and keep the engine running smoothly.
The black interior is also all original, which is good and bad. Bad in the sense that I can't use much of anything in the condition its in except for the switches and a gauge or two. The good part is that the door panels don't have any speaker holes in them and look like they will clean up nicely. I went into this project thinking that I'd replace the stock seats with Sport Recaros, but now I'm having second thoughts and may just rebuild the stock seats and keep the interior original.
